We have TWO 50’x106’ State of the Art turf fields, which are the biggest indoor sports fields in the area. The fields can house not only soccer, but baseball and softball, pitching and batting, lacrosse, dodgeball, and more. We also have a 40’x60’ square foot “training” area turf that can be used for almost anything, fully netted all the way around and through for pitching and batting.


Fields of Play

Number of Players
  • All adult games will be played 5 v 5; 4 field players plus 1 keeper
  • Maximum roster size is 10 players
    • Substitutions will be unlimited and on the fly
Equipment
  • ALL PLAYERS MUST WEAR SHINGUARDS
  • NO METAL OR SCREW IN CLEATS ALLOWED
  • PLAYERS WITH CASTS AND BRACES MUST COVER WITH SOFT MATERIAL, AND MAY BE PERMITTED TO PLAY, BASED ON REFEREE’S DISCRETION
  • GAME BALLS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR ALL LEAGUE GAMES
  • IN THE CASE OF A UNIFORM CONFLICT, THE AWAY TEAM WILL BE REQUIRED TO CHANGE SHIRTS
  • PLAYERS MUST REMOVE ALL JEWELRY PRIOR TO ANY GAME.
Duration of Games

League Play

  • All League games are 40 minutes in length. It will be 2, 20 minutes with a 2 min halftime. Room for OT and PK kicks if needed.
    ** All games will start promptly; a 15-minute grace period is allowed before a forfeit is awarded. Games can be cut due to time.**
  • Tie Breakers: Games ending in a tie, will result in 3 min OT then PK’s if needs. Teams are allowed to pick 3 players from the field ONLY to take the PK’s. Goalie are included.




Misconduct
  • Any player that receives a caution (yellow card) will receive a two-minute penalty. The team of the offending player must play down one player for the duration of this penalty. The cautioned player must serve the full two-minute penalty, regardless of any scoring that may occur.
  • Red - carded players must leave the area of play for the remainder of the match. The team with the red-carded player must play shorthanded for the remainder of the game. Any player, coach, or spectator may be asked to leave the facility.
  • Any player receiving a red card will be reported to the league director. The player’s name must be given to either the official or the Manager on Duty. Failure to give the name, or giving a fake name, will result in punishment of the entire team. The league director will follow up with the player using the following procedure:
    • 1st red card – Suspension for the next scheduled game (this includes playoffs).
    • 2nd red card – Suspension for the remainder of the season (a refund will not be issued).
    • 3rd red card – Suspension from Goal line sports’ leagues for a second season.
    • 4th red card – Banned from Goal line Sports’ leagues indefinitely.

** Goal Line Sports withholds the right to analyze red cards on a case-by-case basis and take action in the best interest of the league and its players. Any action(s) taken or not taken will be at the discretion of the facility manager. **

Fighting Rule: We have a strict no fighting policy. We will not tolerate fighting of any kind. The individuals fighting will be suspended for a game, and the current game will be OVER immediately. Parking lot fighting will result in the members being banned completely from Goal Line Sports indefinitely. There will be no refund, regardless of the severity of the incident. (Additionally Goal Line Sports reserves the right to pursue criminal action against an individual etc.)

Rules

United States Soccer Federation (USSF) rules will be used at GOAL LINE SPORTS with the following modifications:




  • Opening kick may travel backwards.
  • Every Free Kick will be an indirect kick.
  • Defending players must be 3 yards away from restart.
  • No offside.
  • The goalkeeper cannot throw, punt or drop kick a ball directly over the mid-field line without touching a player, wall or the ground. If penalized, an indirect kick will be awarded from the spot of the foul. The goalkeeper must place the ball on the ground in order for the ball to be able to go directly over the mid-field line without touching anything or anyone.
  • Goal kicks can be taken anywhere inside the box.
  • Goal kicks can cross midfield in the air.
  • Subs must wait to enter the field until the player is within two yards of the bench area.
  • Slide tackles are not permitted, and may result in a player receiving a yellow card. Slide tackle fouls are indirect free kicks.
  • Profanity is not permitted: Under the discretion of the referee, punishment is under the discretion of the managers.
  • Any ball that hits the nets anywhere in the turf arena or goes out of bounds is restarted with an indirect kick where the ball most closely hit/went out, rewarded to the opposing team.
  • No gum or food in field area, do not spit on the field. Individuals caught is subject to suspensions.
  • Spitting on another player will result in a season long ban from ALL league play.
Performance Ranking Criteria
  • Ranking in each division is based on wins and losses.
  • A Tie breaking system will be used as follows:
    • League points
    • Head to head competition (If there are 3 or more teams skip this tie breaker)
    • Total goals against
    • Goal differential (maximum four per game)
    • Most total shut-outs (0 goals allowed in a game)

The decision of the Facility manager is final. THERE WILL BE NO PROTESTS!
